After a rough loss Thursday night to Missouri S&T, 64-57, we had to get back into the W column Saturday! With rebounding and defense showing points of weakness, offense carried us through Saturday's game against Maryville. Reaching the century mark for the first time this season, we beat Maryville 100-84, improving to 6-1 on the season and 1-1 conference.
Major offense contributions came from senior Steph Wagner, as she dropped a career high 31 points against Maryville. Hitting 7 threes, while also having 7 steals and 6 assists. Courtney Shuman added a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Daryle Goldie came off the bench putting 15 points in and helping the team on the defensive end with her intensity and aggression.
Our next game will be held at home Thursday December, 9 at 7 p.m. against Hannibal-LaGrange College!
